Meet Your Vet

Vet of the Year 2021 nominee.

Twelve years veterinary experience in London including working in one of the UK and Europe’s largest specialist hospitals.

Over 20,000 dogs treated throughout her career.

As a vet, Dr Ciara loves all animals. Dogs however are her favourite!

During her nine years in practice, she has watched, listened and learned from her dog patients and their human parents and understands their needs.

Ciara offers monthly visits to your dog’s daycare, where they receive their full health examination and a tailored preventative programme. In fact, having a relaxed dog in a familiar environment can give a much more accurate idea of their normal behaviour. See the full detailed assessment here.

Interested in all things canine, Ciara has furthered her studies with additional behaviour courses and has even done a grooming course! She is also a member of many professional bodies.

Vet in the City is not a replacement for your primary vet practitioner and should a concern be identified that cannot be dealt with (e.g., heart murmur, suspicious lump or bump) she will write a full report and discuss her recommendations with you and them.

Louise Glazebrook, Darling Dog Company

I was introduced to Ciara via the brilliant dog behaviourist Louise Glazebrook. Ciara was brilliant, she is without question the most thorough and exemplary vet I’ve ever taken Buster to. She spent a proper amount of time looking at and engaging with Buster as well as talking to me. Her calm, holistic approach is very reassuring and beneficial to both you and your pet and I highly recommend her services to everyone.

We have trusted Ciara with our dog Nelly since she was a puppy. Nelly is always excited to see her (and the treats!) and I never feel silly asking questions, no matter how small it may seem.
